Our target audience is predominantly female taking up 77% of the overall  precentage, whereas males are an insignificant 23% less than a quarter of the overall percent. This is derived from the film Remember Me, a Romantic Drama with a similar narrative style of a tragedy i.e. in ours cancer vs infidelity vs betrayal, whereas theres is centred around a family trailer.Fundamentally our audience profiling caters predominatly between the ages of 15- 24 with 56%. This may be because this age group tends to have more disposable income, so its important that we take this into consideration when creating our film and ancillary texts.

Audience classifications

After some research on the Pearl and Dean Website, I came across a table with the different social classifications of audience viewers. They are represented in this table.

After some research into these different classifications, I found another table detailing what these classifications were. This table was sourced from Wikipedia.

These are known as NRS social grades and are on a system of demographic classification. The distinguishing feature of each grade boundary is the occupation.
