This is the adobe home screen, as you can see it is quite simplistic in the manner that everything is easy to access .For example the large percentage of the screen is a ' Yacht' photo to express the possibilities of filming and using editing to capture them in a certain light.Primarily it has 4 options within this photo: learning more information, instant movie, open project and new project. For us we will have to open a new project and render then upload our footage that we have so far.At the top it goes file, edit, clip, time line, disc, title window and help and to the right of the screen are options of saving, undoing, redoing and full screen. These options are generally followed by little symbols which makes it easier for us to edit.
This next print screen shows the stages in opening a new project, here you have options of naming it, saved location, project settings, browsing the settings and changing settings. The good thing about adobe is although it does have complicated effects etc it explains each one clearly so that even a non media student would be able to figure out which stages to follow. As an example I have overwritten our animatic since it has already been uploaded to Youtube.
This next screen shot goes to the actual editing screen. To the left of the screen is the black screen which shows where the film footage will be played and there options of speeding it up, or slowing it down. This would be particularly useful for our footage as speeding it conforms to the conventions of a teaser trailer .It also allows you to go to previous edit point , for example if we decided to change the editing sequence we have just done then we can automatically change it.The next object is the mobillity of rewinding it.The effect of this allows you to go back to a particular point in the film. There is also step back left and step foward right , which quite simply goes backwards and forwards one time, more effective than rewinding , especially if we had alot of footage.
