quick idea-Underworld Evolution - Kate Beckinsale Love Scene

My friend Nicole looked at the footage we had filmed so far and made a valuable comment on the content and the nature of the film. To her the symbolism of lust and passion was quite subtle yet erotic at the same time, whereas some of the shots we had produced were quite erotic in the sense that there was too much exposure. She told me to look at the love scene in the underworld film starring Kate Beckinsale. I have included it above and have made a quick analysis on it.

1. The non-diegetic soundtrack is quite a slow and gloomy piano composition similar to what we want to do. However ours will be sightly more dramatic and fast paced in scenes which Amiee and Chris are in.
2. The opening shot can be compared to our two shot of Chris and Amiee kissing and stroking each others hair.

3. I quite like this shot as it is quite passionate without being overly dramatic.
Perhaps we should replicate it in our film with Chris undoing Amiee's back zip
or something similar.

4.Nicole suggested that we should get Amiee to replicate this scene as it shows lust in an effectively
erotic manner. The use of lighting is the key element here as it highlights the intimacy of the two people, particularly emphasizing Kate's belly button.
