Me and Amir have decided to schedule the soundtrack composition on Monday 2nd period as this is when we both have this lesson free. I thought it would be a good idea if he used an existing song like turning tables by Adele or Broken Hearted Girl by Beyonce, as they reflect the overall atmosphere extremely well through the use of sound inflections, alternative notes and the lyrics. Amir suggested that the sound of someone singing over the top of his composition would go well with the chords, so I think this will be a good idea to do and also reflects originality. What would be good also is if we have the piano composition uploaded to Cubase and then layer under different instruments e.g. harp and trumpet as well as piano.
