Today period 3 we rendered the rest of the footage that we had filmed as you can see by this print screen here. Once this was finished I did the following:
- cut clip where Chris pushed Amiee onto the bed and stopped it there, as the next part was too erotic ie them moving frantically together and like Nicole said sometimes its better to be subtly effective.
- Deleted a really dark shot of Amiee and Chris walking into the bedroom; even if I had lightened the contrast I still think that it would have looked bad in comparison to the other shots.
- Deleted a living room pan of me where I am talking to the camera, as of course this is just a moment I have been filmed asking Charley a question about something.In this shot I was meant to be reading a newspaper, but I looked at the camera instead.
- Deleted the 3 telly shots and kept the one with the best pan around/ me reading the newspaper
- Split the clip of me going into the kitchen and stopped it at the kitchen door before interchanging it into the kitchen, in order to make it smooth because as it is hard to film over the shoulder shots, it was quite shaky.
- Once this was done I then had the horror of Adobe freezing, which was a major problem because significant editing had been done. Predictably it lost all the work I did. However I have taken print screen shots and hopefully tomorrow period 2 I will try to retain the work that I did. These are all shown below.
