From these film magazines the one I most want to replicate is this one on the right here.
This is because one of my original ideas for a film poster was similar to this ie the juxtaposition between characters through the use of a teared page, I also like how the formatting is very simple and not too busy, so if we have something like fancy like this we should keep the format simple. Perhaps what we should do is have me in the centre of the page with a book in my hand ripped in half with pictures of Amiee and Chris together. This should be against a white background.
I quite like this shot for the angling it has used, perhaps we could use this with me facing the front of the magazine and Amiee and Chris either side of me. I then edited this quickly on Photoshop, to see what kind of effects I could use.
The book shows the pages I will be tearing.
An example of a similar picture we could use to symbolise Chris and Amiee and I especially like the use of black and white symbolising the destruction of love.
As you can see here I have used the magic eraser tool to cut away the background and text as well as applying a colour mixer so that it appears posterized and black and white which I think looks quite effective.
Also from my research into film magazine archives it was clear to see that predominantly they are not aimed a female readership, so I decided we should create our own and have the title perhaps fusion, with the slogan underneath, the worlds first woman's film weekly. The features should include things like we speak to the worlds hottest movie star etc so we make it clear who our target audience.
