| Here are some Print Screens that exemplify some of our editing choices |
First of all we began by using Adobe Help to search in more depth into how to accomplish Juxtaposed screens. Here are some print screens to exemplify our editing. We then did the following:
- Frame blend- which played shots separately instead of split shots
- Then incredibly Charley managed to fufil this which was done by clicking on timeline then going onto motion control, where we could select the frames and place them where ever we wanted on the screen, before playing with scale width- we could make it any height we wanted.
- Cut household shots out completely as we wanted to keep the whole teaser snappy and exciting
- Then Mr Oswick said that to keep the film looking professional we still need to keep the film company names ect so will need to do some research into this. Also period 3 and 4 today I can practise intertitles and our film title as well.. Also I thought of scenes we need to do with Chris which is the following: still wedding photo, argument followed by a line of dialogue e.g. I hate you or something similar to that.- also note need to think about voice overs!
- Also Charley needs to get pregnancy tests from the pound shop!
- We then made the sick scenes shorter, by cutting irrelevant scenes and shortening the actual vomiting process.
- The doctor surgery scene was cut when I got to the door because there is a quick flash at the end of the sequence where I smirk at the camera. Also I thought that it would be a good idea if we had me in the ' waiting room' on a chair and then it quickly cuts to a clock ticking, where we will slow time down in order to make t seem as though time is dragging. Then it quickly cuts to a shot of me looking worried before someone pretending to be the GP and calling my name and then we stop the shot when i get to the door. Then cut to a shot of me crying- perhaps outside?
- Slowed down the zoom into the doctor's sign at the time stretch of 85
- We cut the slight shake at the beginning of the bench scene so that it would run smoother. Also I thought of the idea of a voiceover over the bench scene of me saying ' Its Chris or I need to talk to you about chris' Then the shot quickly cuts to Amiee and Chris getting passionate in bed because it reflects that Amiee is thinking about him before cutting to Amiees face looking really guilty.
- Shortened the belly rub sequence even more so because it just went on for too long.
- Sped up car scene- 150 but didn't look right
